If you're developing a shampoo, treatment, dye, or styling product and want to evaluate it on consistent hair instead of variable volunteers, this is the material labs use.

Tell us the usable length, target mass, color, texture, processing state, construction, and documentation your protocol requires. Availability, preparation method, achievable tolerance, quantity, and timing are confirmed during feasibility review before you order.
Pricing: every build is quoted against your written specification. Length, weight, color, texture, processing state, documentation and quantity all change what a build costs, so we don't publish a rate card. Send your spec and we'll quote against it.

Root-to-tip orientation can affect friction, combability, dye-uptake kinetics, and directional surface-contact measurements. When that matters, include it in the brief; orientation checks and achievable tolerances are agreed during feasibility review.
Lot documentation and batch holds

Preeti Gupta founded Prarvi Hair in 2015 after training as a chemical engineer and working across research, analytics, and entrepreneurship. She works closely with salons, stylists, individual clients, and cosmetic-science teams that need authentic Indian human hair with clear sourcing and consistent preparation.
Her background includes a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from C-DAC, and research training at IIM Ahmedabad. That mix shapes Prarvi's approach to research tresses: documented specs, repeat-order planning, and preparation controls for cosmetic-formulation R&D, mechanical testing, and product-efficacy research.

How is pricing structured?
Per tress, by length, color, texture, processing documentation, and preparation requirements. Longer lengths, blonde, treated and held-lot builds carry a premium. We don't publish a wholesale rate card — every quote is tailored to spec and volume. Bulk and repeat-order pricing on request.
What's the lead time?
Preparation and dispatch timing are confirmed after we review the specification, source availability, quantity, and documentation needs. The quote separates preparation time from carrier transit and identifies any expedited-delivery option.
Do you provide documentation of provenance and processing?
Lot number, source notes, processing state, coating status where available, and prep date can be documented when requested before order confirmation. Tell us what your grant, regulatory, or publication methods section needs and we will state what can be supported for the specific lot.
Can I see photos of the specific tresses before purchase?
Yes. Tell us the spec you need and we'll send swatch photos of current stock. For custom builds we send progress photos during preparation.
